Story Of U.S. Army Signal Corps (HD)
Ref#: BOF-04-042-54. The U.S. Army Signal Corps was established in 1863. This 1976 film shows progress in communications from the time signal flags were used up to the present day technical developments. Introduction of the telephone, message coding and decoding, radio-equipped aircraft, radar and research and development have greatly contributed to the Corps' effectiveness. Many outstanding military accomplishments are featured along with the training of personnel at the U.S. Army Signal School, Fort Gordon, Georgia.
