Under the guise of a registered fuel ship, the boat makes port, almost unsuspected, but the government men are on the job as soon as the landing of the load starts. So swift and precise is the action of the officers, that the bootleggers are caught unaware, and surrender, without resistance, the rich shipment from the 12-mile limit.

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO – Down the Avenida Francisco I. Madero, into the Plaza de la Constitution, swings the greatest procession of athletes ever assembled in the nation’s history. Men, women, and children, garbed in costumes worn in baseball, football, swimming, track and other sports are in the tremendous column, made more colorful through the presence of “charros” in native attire. A two-headed 50-foot balloon giant requires a score of people to hold him down. Other features are a 40-foot hippopotamus, a 200-foot dragon, and all flanked by various other air-filled toys from Santa Claus’s workshop.
