THE FALL OF BARDIA
Spectacular pictures from the Libyan Front, showing the naval bombardment of Bardia by British warships. Throughout the night, flashes from the big guns light up the sky and herald the port’s fall. Thousands of prisoners fall into British hands.

NAZI PRISONERS IN CANADS
Hundreds of German fliers and U-boat crews, captured red in the Battle of Britain, land at an Eastern Canadian port and head for internment. One of them has escaped in to the U.S. and may be sent back to Germany.

WILLKIE SEES “WAR” AT FIRST-HAND
LONDON, ENG.—Prime Minister Winston Churchill greets the former G.O.P. candidate on his “look-see” tour of Britain at war. Later, Mr. Willkie visits an air-raid shelter and gets a big hand from civilians!

NEW YORK, N.Y. –To study civilian defense measures in England, an American Legion mission, including National Commander Mile J. Warner, leaves by Clipper plane to gather first-hand data on modern warfare.
