U.S. formulates plans to fight both Japan and Germany. President Roosevelt emphasizes the importance of winning the war and outlines three high purposes for each American. General George Marshall is Chief of Staff. General Eisenhower becomes Assistant Chief of Staff. The Garrison in the Hawaiian Islands is reinforced.
A major effort is made to raise and repair the ships sunk at Pearl Harbor. British Prime Minster confers with President Roosevelt in Washington. Troops are moved to the eastern seaports by rail (scenes on the troop trains). American troops (soldiers) loading onboard troop ships. Signs “Loose Lips Might Sink Ships” and “Free Speech Doesn’t Mean Careless Talk”.
