Unedited Footage. The Gulf War was a conflict between Iraq and a coalition force of approximately 30 nation led by the United States and mandated by the United Nations in order to liberate Kuwait. The conflict is known by numerous alternative names that reflect the historical, political, and journalistic views of different groups and regions. These include Persian Gulf War, 1990 Gulf War, First Gulf War, Liberation of Kuwait, Mother of Battles, and Desert Storm.

On February 24, 1991 Dick Cheney, United States Secretary of Defense, and General Colin Powell announces to the press the beginning of the ground war to drive the Iraqi Army out of Kuwait.

Shows B-52 bombers, F-117A Nighthawk Aircraft, and ship launched cruse missiles used in the air attack against Iraq.
