March 31, 1945: Leyte Philippine Islands
Loading DUKWS amphibious trucks onto LSV (vehicle landing ship) off Leyte Island in the Philippine Islands in support of "Operation Iceberg". Shows DUKWS, loaded with supplies, approaching LVS ship and being driven into cargo hold of LSV ship.
April 1, 1945: LSV Ship Underway In Support of Operation Iceberg
Shows supply troops gathered around a map of Okinawa as an officer explains the logistics of supplying the invasion force of 200,000 men with food, ammunition, and equipment. Shows soldiers on the LSV ship playing cards. One soldier sharping knife on a whetstone. Shows soldiers attending church services (religious service) onboard LSV ship underway to Okinawa.
April 2, 1945: Natives On Okinawa

April 4, 1945: Moving Supplies From Ships To Beachhead
Shows a crane on a pontoon causeway loading a truck with supplies from an LST. Shows construction of roadway from beachhead inland to move supplies. Shows loaded truck moving along causeway to new roadway. Unloading supplies from ships was an around-the-clock operation.
