Synopsis: Early safety film addresses the ever-growing problem of traffic fatalities involving pedestrians (mostly kids) in Los Angeles, California by showing examples that lead to fatalities such as crossing in the center of the block, walking out from between parked cars, walking preoccupied, kid hitchhiking (thumbing a ride) in the street, roller skating, and children playing ball in the street.
Scenes Include: 1930’s Automobile-vehicle traffic on Wilshire Blvd and other Los Angeles city streets, 1930’s automobiles, trolley car, early traffic signals, kids (children) joy riding on bumper of automobile, dangerous stunts, ambulance responding to call.
