Allied drives split German. Scenes of heavy street fighting in Leipzig. To the south Nuremburg lays in ruins. Flashback to 1932 Hitler speaks at party rally that was held each year in a stadium built for that purpose in Nuremburg. A camp for British Officers is overrun and prisoners freed. Scenes of German prisoners and civilians in Allied camp. Twelve German Generals surrender. In central Germany in a salt mine soldiers of the 3rd Army recover the German gold reserve and hidden art treasures.

Army Day in Coblenz. General Patton inspects troops. Scene of the raising of the first official American flag to fly over Germany.

British M.P.’s investigate German atrocities. Scenes of bodies of persons killed in German concentration camps and devices used for killing and torture. Scenes of cremation ovens. Graphic scenes of bodies of prisoners that were machined-gunned to death or electrocuted on wire fences trying to escape. Camp officials are arrested. Gestapo guards and German women guards are led away under arrest. Scenes of the bodies of the Mayor of Leipzig and his family who took poison to avoid arrest.
