Third anniversary of the birth of the United States Victory Feet. Merchant seamen parade in New York City. Shows Vice Admiral. Emory Land.

China joins post war security talks at the Dumbarton Oaks Conference. Secretary of State Hull, Under Secretary, Stettinius, Dr. Wellington Koo and Lord Halifax. Shows Donald M. Nelson and Generals. Stilwell and Hurley in Chunking.

Pacific Offensive. Shows amphibious landings on New Guinea and in the Palau Islands.

Troops move through the mud of the New Guinea jungle with native guides. Low flying planes drop ammunition and supplies without use of parachutes.

A surprise amphibious at Saidor on the Western end of Dutch New Guinea by the American 6th Army out flanked the final garrisons on New Guinea.

The next target is the Palau Islands. Landing craft of the 1st Marine Division surge ashore under heavy fire. Pinned down the Marines blast back with rifle fire, machine guns and bazooka fire. Evacuation of the wounded. Troops on the run follow behind a tank.
