In the Mariana Islands (Marianas) artillery units on Saipan bombard Japanese positions on Tinian Island. Aerial view of landing crafts moving across the channel to invade Tinian.

Shows General Holland Smith in an amphibian vehicle. Shows Marines in mopping up operation on Guam. Footage of Marines firing a mortar from a foxhole and firing a 50 caliber machine gun. Marines duck for cover as enemy returns fire. Scenes of dead Japanese soldiers. Marines raise the American flag once again over the island of Guam.

In Naples, Italy Brazilian troops arriving on a troop transport are welcomed by General Devers. Shows Brazilian troops debarking from transport.

President Roosevelt, General MacArthur, Admiral Nimitz and Admiral Leahy converse on a cruiser anchored in Pearl Harbor. United States sailors stand at salute. Riding in an open car President Roosevelt tours Pearl Harbor and observes a demonstration of small arms firing. Seated in an open car President Roosevelt reviews the 7th Division. Home again F.D.R. addresses large crowd of navy yard workers at Bremerton, Washington.
