President Kennedy's Presidential party, with Mrs. Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs. Lyndon Johnson, deplanes at the San Antonio airport. Along the route enthusiastic crowds greets the President and his motorcade.

President and Mrs. Kennedy deplanes Air Force One at Love Field, Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Kennedy is wearing a pink suite. Motorcade begins 11-mile ride to the Dallas Trade Mart. As the motorcade turns onto Elm Street a radio newsman picks up the voice coverage. After the President is shot the video freezes on still frames. The newsman continues a very excited voice coverage of the confused events as they unfold. Video coverage resumes at hospital. Various scenes at the hospital and the reaction of the people when the announcement is made the President of the United States is dead.
In the forward cabin of Air Force One Lyndon Johnson, with Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Kennedy at his side, is sworn in as President of The United States.
