On return home soldier is greeted by his mother with hug.
The war did bring changes. Scenes of ship yard and building of liberty ships, PT-boats, Higgins boats, New Orleans Harbor, Canal Street with Spanish signs, International trade, draftsmen at work, aerial view of new airports, Latin American college students.
