The Muezzin issues the Adhan or Islamic call to prayer from a minaret of a Mosque. All turn toward Mecca, the Holy City. City folks gather in groups to pray to Allah while a Bedouin spreads his prayer rug on the desert floor. Follows daily life of a peasant farmer, a nomad or Bedouin that bargains for a teapot at the Bazaar, and a merchant or city dweller in Jerusalem. Village of peasant farmers, camel used to plow field, farmer riding on camel, camel kneels for rider to dismount.
Street scenes in Middle East city with people, shops, home and family of city dweller. Shows oil facilities, huge oil tanker. University students including women, health facilities, new schools, farm tractor, modern irrigation systems, buss, truck, and modern airport are symbols of change.
