The War Office in London calls for new recruits for the Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, (QMAAC) as England goes to war in 1914. In 1896 The Idaho Daily Statesman newspaper headlines reads “Women Now Voters”, In 1911 The Sacramento Bee headlines reads “Women Win Suffrage”, in 1913 The Chicago Daily Tribune reads “ Governor Signs The Woman's Suffrage Bill”, followed by Rhode Island and in 1917 New York. Women in 17-states can now vote for president, women in 31-states still do not have that right.
