Tragedy does strike near the truce headquarters, when a balloon being sent up to mark the site bursts, wounding the crew. Rescue helicopters fly the men to rear areas. Meanwhile, despite the truce talks, U.N. rocket launchers send a deadly barrage into communist lines.
