Nationalist uprisings shake Russia’s iron curtain empire in Eastern Europe. Poland successfully ousts Kremlin spokesmen in her government, after days of demonstrations and ominous troop maneuvers. In Hungary, seeking to follow suit, demonstrations give way to armed revolt and Red army troops, tanks and planes battle in Budapest to stem the uprising for freedom.

Air Force Colonel Dean Hess, the famed 'Flying Parson' of World War II and Korea, revisits the hundreds of Korean orphans who are now his wards, after he rescued of them from battle zones and founded an orphanage for them. A modern new building is under construction now, to which is pledged his earnings from his book “Battle Hymn” as well as the forthcoming Hollywood film of the same name.
