Captain Of The Ship 'Flying Enterprise' Saved As Ship Sinks
Courageous Capt. Kurt Carlsen, who stuck to his foundering ship the “Flying Enterprise” during anxious days following a hurricane, is rescued when the freighter finally goes down, only fifty miles from harbor and safety. Late news films show terrific waves lashing the crippled ship, from which Capt. Carlsen radios his plight to U.S. destroyer.
