San Francisco:
San Francisco tourist in 1978 was eager to ride the famous cable cars (trolley, streetcar), see the Golden Gate Bridge, and visit Fisher’s Wharf. Most enjoyable however was the San Francisco street scenes, street artist, street musicians, mime actors, street clowns.

Ralph Austin-Rancher:
Herding, roping, branding cattle is the life of a rancher. In modern America a rancher must also work the political process starting in Washington, DC to ensure success. Cowboys, cattle, cattle auction, FCA meeting, man entering cab, Washington DC 1978.

San Antonio:
The major attraction of San Antonio, Texas is the Alamo. However, in 1978 a visit to a Mexican Rodeo and an evening at Riverwalk was well worth the time.

Port Of New Orleans:
The long line of ships moving on the Mississippi River attests to the vast amount of goods moving through this Louisiana port. Scenes of Bourbon Street, rail yards, container yards. Tug boats, barges, container ships, bulk ships, container crane, fire boat spraying water, dock workers.

Louisiana. Home of Tabasco Sauce, hot peppers, and a salt mine. Large quantities of all are required to make Tabasco Sauce. Tabasco Sauce bottling plant and line, green house, salt mine.
