Jews Defend Their New Zion State
First pictures of the battle of Haifa in 1948 (operation Bi'ur Hametz-Passover Cleaning) was a Haganah operation with the objective of the capture of the Arab neighborhoods of Haifa. Shows Israeli Haganah soldiers (Jewish paramilitary organization) stopping and searching Arab men. Shows bodies of Arabs killed in the fighting. U.S. recognition of 'Israel' is announced to United Nation delegates, still dead locked over plans for truce. In Washington, flag of new Jewish state is unfurled. Shows Jews dancing in the street surrounded by large crowd.
