Steel Industry Defies Irate President John F. Kennedy

President Kennedy devotes the major portion of his news conference to denouncing the Big Steel companies for raising steel prices by $6 a ton. He gives his opinion on its effect on the economy. News reporters rush from the room (news conference) to announce the economic news of the year.
