Delegates from all parts of the country arrive to proclaim themselves on the Ike bandwagon. Shows Vice President Nixon, California Governor Goodwin Knight, and Senator William F. Knowland. LS of San Francisco Cow Palace in 1956. Washington's Governor Arthur B. Langlie sets the campaign tone in his keynote address at the huge Cow Palace.

Egypt's Nasser acclaimed by exultant Arab throngs following his seizure of the Suez Canal. Shows deserted streets as the Arab world came to a standstill in response to Nasser's call for a strike protesting the conference of 22 foreign ministers in London. An eyewitness to these historical events is 13-year old American Dennis Briody, a guest of Nasser.
