Synopsis: Chapter 5: Flash and Roka escape the Arena Of Death and rescue both Dr. Alexis Zarkov and Dale Arden amidst a frenzied search by Ming The Merciless and his guards. Commandeering Ming's rocket ships culminating in a daring rescue of Rocka from a burning ship, Flash and his companions congratulate themselves on escaping Emperor Ming's grip.
Events take a deadly turn when a rocket ship belonging to Prince Barin open fires on what it believes is an enemy Ming ship. Flash, unable to communicate with Prince Barin's ship in time, finds his ship badly damage and going down.
