Synopsis: Chapter 8: The Land Of The Dead, inhabited by the Rock Men, becomes the new battleground between Flash Gordon and Ming The Merciless. Meanwhile, the Rock Men capture both Flash and his companions as well as Emperor Ming's soldiers. Blaming them for the disappearance of his son, the Rock King sentences them all to death.
Through an exceedingly clever ruse Flash and Dr. Zarkov escape only to discover that the Rock Prince is still alive and helpless in the grip of a powerful psychic lodestone. While Flash attempts to save the Rock Prince, Dr. Zarkov hurries back with the news to the Rock King before Dale Arden is thrown into a fiery pit.
