Operation Phantom Thunder-Iraq
Operation Phantom Thunder was a Corp level offensive operation against al-Qaeda terrorist in Iraq, Sunni extremist, and Shiite extremist. Shows the aftermath of the explosions that destroyed the golden dome and two minarets of the Al-Askari Mosque in Samarra. Shows Prime Minister al-Maliki on tour of the mosque. Shows combat teams on patrol and images of explosions of air strikes directed against terrorist and insurgent targets. Shows patrols on the Tigris River to stop insurgents from using the river to transport IED’s into Baghdad.
Diyala Province Iraq

Golden Knights At Cowboy Camp
Members of the Army’s parachute team visited Valley Ranch home of the Dallas Cowboys football team in Texas. The Golden Knights were given a tour of the Cowboys Valley Ranch facilities. The Cowboy Cheerleaders are shown being chosen to make a tandem parachute jump with the Army Golden Knight Team.
