Unedited aerial footage shot on April 2/3, 1945, second and third day after Allied forces landed on Okinawa, Ryukyus Islands. The Battle of Okinawa, codename Operation Iceberg, was the largest amphibious assault in the Pacific campaign of WWII. Shows hundreds of attack transport ships, LSTs (Higgins boats) and support vessels along Hagushi beaches on the western coast of Okinawa.
