A Russian documentary film depicting the possible future of space flight by Russian visionary Konstantin Tsiolkovsky and the history of early Russian rocket club experiments. Transitioning into a fictional account of three men being launched into space in a rocket and their successful return; a huge manned scientific space station assembled above the earth, showing the facilities for, and work of the people aboard. An unmanned and later a manned lunar rocket ship being sent from the space station to the surface of the moon. Establishment of a pioneer colony on the moon.
