CU Marine, carrying Browning Automatic Rifle B.A.R., helmet camouflaged with weeds. CU Marine crouched in tall grass. Machine gun nest set up in tall grass. CU Three marines conversing. CU Marine speaks on walkie-talkie (hand held radio). U.S. Marine Sikorsky CH-34 Choctaw helicopter takes off in low flight over hill after Marines disembark. CU Two marine officers converse over map. Marine colonel wearing camouflaged helmet. Two radiomen (Field Radio Operators). CU Marine officers gathered around small table in field hold conference over maps & photographs. CU, LCM (Landing Craft Mechanized). Landing craft ramp drops, Marines "hit the beach". CU Column of marines march past camera. CU Jeep pulls trailer past camera, second jeep stuck in sand in BG. CU Marine machine gun nest set up inland on beach area; helmets camouflaged with weeds & brush. Two marines in tall grass firing rifles.
