WWII Pacific Islands Campaign

Japanese planes attack United States Task Force ships off Saipan. U.S. plane landing on carrier deck on one wheel. Japanese plane on fire crashing into ocean. Night sky filled with glowing tracer rounds of ammunition and planes crashing. Battle of Biak, part of New Guinea Campaign in WWII. Shows bombardment of Biak Island and landing of U.S troops. Scenes of amphibious LTV (Landing Vehicle Tracked) moving inland. Use of special trained War Dogs. Troops land on Noemfoor Island. Supplies dropped by air at airstrip on Noemfoor. Mop-up operations continue on Guam. Wounded carried to rear. United States flag is raised over Guam once again. Liberated Natives on Saipan and Guam given food and treated for injuries.
