American Submarine Rescue Downed Airmen
American airmen are rescued by a submarine in the Pacific. American submarine USS Tang (SS-306) rescues 22 men clinging to wings of downed U.S. plane after raid on Japanese Island. Shows submarine gunners sinking damaged plane after rescue of airmen.
