Synopsis: Christmas in the Swedish household is a family festival of candles, singing, dancing and traditional food delicacies such as lussekatter cakes, ham, jellied pigs feet, lutfisk and rice porridge.
The children wait impatiently for Jultomten, a gnome who lives under the barn, to arrive with gifts for all. In the very early hours, Christmas morning, Swedes traditionally attend church services. |
