Synopsis: U.S. Military has a Code Of Conduct that all officers and soldiers follow when captured by the enemy. In the spring of 1973 American servicemen, newly released prisoners of war (POW’s), came home from Hanoi, North Vietnam. These former POW’s relate how the Code of Conduct helped them survive. Military servicemen describe the circumstances of their capture with flashback scenes.
Scenes Include: Re-enactment of revolutionary War scenes (approx. 45-seconds), Vietnam ground combat, explosion, soldiers firing M-16 rifles, soldier firing M60 machine gun, American plane over Hanoi receives anti-aircraft flak, U.S. navy destroyer firing guns, U.S. pilot evades capture, Re-enactment of escape attempt, American POW’s on parade in Hanoi, POW’s homecoming and being greeted by their families, re-enactment civil war (8-seconds), brief scenes of WWI soldiers charging. |
