Synopsis: NASA launches a Delta 2 rocket carrying the GLAST Spacecraft, Gamma Ray Large Area Space Telescope, from launch complex 17-B Cape Canaveral Florida.

Shows the Delta II on the launch pad, countdown to launch, closeup of rocket engines igniting or firing, and lift-off of the rocket. Follows Delta 2 down range. Shows NASA personnel at the various control rooms and stations. Excellent animation of the GLAST mission from animated launch to video animation of the separation of the spacecraft and deployment of the solar arrays. Several launch scenes of the Delta rocket from different camera angles showing the blast from the rocket engines or rocket engine blast.
