Planes bomb Lae, Ships bombard the city. Shows destroyed and beached Japanese troop and cargo ships. Australian soldiers go ashore in landing craft.

General Douglas MacArthur and Lt. General Kenny confers with officers. MacArthur flies in an airborne operation. Paratroops prepare for a mission, board planes and jump over Lae. Australian troops make landing strip.

Latest films of the invasion convoy crossing the Mediterranean. Shows the landing at Salerno, Italy with naval and air battles. Troops go ashore at night.
