B-17 Flying Forts (Fortress) flying through heavy German flak bomb industrial cities in Germany and battle German interceptor planes. Shows damaged B-17’s on their return to home base.

Generals Stilwell and Somervell and Lord Mountbatten arrive in India for a conference.

Shows scenes in Naples after the German retreat. A delayed action bomb left by the retreating Germans explodes in a post office building killing and wounding many civilians.

The liner Normandie recently salvaged is moved from her pier in New York to be refitted in a drydock. The Normandie was rechristened U.S.S. Lafayette.

Americans vote in wartime election. Personages includes Governor Thomas Dewey, Wendell Willkie, and President Franklin D Roosevelt. FDR votes.

Australian troops advance in New Guinea across jungle terrain. Jungle combat scenes. Mortar fire, machine gun fire, and artillery fire. Dead Japanese soldiers. Wounded Australian soldiers (troops).
