Italians apply for jobs at the Headquarters For The Allied Military Government to help rebuild their city. U.S. Engineers distill water from the Bay of Naples for drinking. General Clark arrives to inspect conditions in the city. 5th Army units march northward. At other points new troops arrive under enemy fire. Nazis prisoners hurry to the rear. From Italian ports P.O.W’s embark for prison camps overseas.

Douglas fir is felled in Canada and floated down river to mills. Shows logging train. Lumberjacks float down the river to mill.

Italian fliers land their planes at an allied airfield and join the allies.

General Stilwell inspects Chinese. U.S. troops swim a river in Burma to take up new positions. Jungle fighting (combat). Shows 50 Cal machine gun firing at the enemy. Rapid fire AA (anti-aircraft gun) fiiring. American and Chinese nurses care for wounded.

Carrier-based planes carry out low level bombing attacks on Wake Island. American plane attacks enemy ship. Enemy plane shot down in air-to-air combat.
