General Eisenhower honors the liberation of Paris as he lays a wreath at the Arc de Triomphe and speaks to the French people.

Free French and U.S. Forces enter Marseilles. U.S. troops join in a parade honoring the French underground.
Behind artillery, aerial bombardment, and flame throwing tanks Allied ground forces enter LeHavre, Antwerp, and Brussels. Shows German pow’s with hands behind head and being marched to rear lines. Scenes of the British 2nd Army tanks cross a bailey bridge and enters Antwerp. Scenes of street fighting. Underground resistance fighters are supplied by airdrops behind German lines.

Field Marshal Montgomery enters Brussels. The American 7th Army enters Lyons amid sniper fire. Civilians duck and take cover. Trucks loaded with Allied troops move through the city. Collaborators are paraded through the streets in disgrace.
