The fuselage of an 8-motor seaplane is hauled to the ocean in California. The design and construction of this prototype military seaplane was the work of Howard Hughes and Henry Kaiser. After Kaiser withdrew from the project the aircraft was completed by Howard Hughes and would later become known as the Spruce Goose.
