British and U.S. troops advance in northern France as Caen falls. Care was taken to spare the Church of Saint of Saint Etienne. Shows trial of two young collaborators. Each received a life sentence at hard labor. Americans troops capture La Haye, France.

French troops take Sienna, Italy and enter the city amid the cheering and waving crowds of the liberated citizens.

Allied planes attack a German convoy in the English Channel. Gun camera footage records the attack.

Russian and captured German films show battle scenes along the Russian front. The Red army advances as the Germans retreat. Russians fight street by street to recapture a city. Shows columns of German prisoners of war (POW’s).
