Submarines Of Japanese Navy Sunk By U.S.
At Sasebo Naval Base in Japan 24 Japanese submarines are lined up for their last voyage. The subs will be loaded with explosives, pulled to sea, and shelled by the cruiser Chicago. Among the subs is I-58, a cruiser Type-B Japanese submarine that sunk the heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis (CA-35) in the Philippine Sea.
