Funeral of President Roosevelt. President’s body is placed on a special train at Warm Springs, Georgia. The train is met in Washington D.C. by Vice President Truman and Henry Wallace. The body is carried by caisson to the White House. Funeral services are held at Hyde Park, New York.
 
Harry S. Truman becomes President of the United States. Shows Truman at the 1944 Democratic Convention with his daughter Margaret Truman. Shows Vice President Truman and President Roosevelt having an informal chat. As President Truman receives Secretary of War Stimson, General Marshall, and Admiral King. James Byrnes, Secretary of State Stettinius, Anthony Eden, and Lord Halifax also visits the President. President Truman addresses joint session of Congress.
