Hugh Navy Seaplane, Hawaii Mars, is tested. Shows this flying boat taking off, in flight, and landing.

The 2nd Marine Division lands on a small atoll in the Ryukyus Island chain near Okinawa. Only civilians are encountered. On Okinawa a few die-hard Japanese hold out. Flame throwing tanks of the 1st and 6th Marine Divisions burn the cane fields to flush out the Japanese. Shows stripped Japanese pows. Shows prisoner of war camp for Japanese pows.

Truman, Stalin, and Churchill meet in Berlin. The Cruiser USS Augusta docks in Antwerp and President Truman, Secretary of State Byrnes, Secretary of war Stimson and Admiral Leahy are greeted by Admiral Stark, Ambassador Sawyer, and General Eisenhower. Truman’s party is greeted by Andrei Gromyko at the Brussels airport. Shows scenes of the Potsdam Conference. Truman inspects the 2nd Armored Division. President Truman speaks at flag raising ceremony in American occupied sector of Berlin. The American flag is raised while the band plays The Star-Spangled Banner.
