Synopsis: Chindits, British India Special Forces, enter a Burma village, load and fire mortars and machine guns, move through the jungle using mule teams, greet Chinese troops, enter Mogaung accompanied by Australians, and stand inspection. Shows bodies of dead Japanese enemy, and a one-plane bombing run.
Scenes from the western front. British tanks move forward in France, a flail tank moves down road exploding German mines. Allied fighter and bombers strafe and bomb ground installations and an enemy convoy off Helgoland. Half-tracks and tanks move through a rubbled French town, Allied planes use rocket bomb to attack retreating German troops. |
