Synopsis: Queen Wilhelmina tours rubbled streets in Holland, places a wreath on a historic battle site, and talks with members of a crowd.

Victory at Mandalay Burma by the British 14th Army, a multinational force of British units and Indian Army units. The British 14th Army was often referred to as the "forgotten Army" in the Burma Campaign in WWII. Artillery pieces are loaded on gliders. Transport planes and gliders land in Burma near the front lines. Ghurka Troops in the British Indian Army unload supplies. Tanks and infantry advance under artillery support, Meiktila is captured. Mortars, machine guns, and airplanes bombard Mandalay Hill outside the city. Japanese troops retreat to Fort Dufferin in the center of the city and are strafed and bombed by British planes. General Slim, Lord Mountbatten, and Gov. Casey of Bengal enter the city with troops of the British 14th Army.
