Operation Pluto was the plan to lay a petroleum pipeline across the English Channel from Dungeness England to Boulogne France to fuel the Allied drive into Germany. Shows the pumping stations in England disguised as a resort and the preparation of the pipe in a factory. The British ship Conundrum starts "Operation Pluto" by laying pipe sections in the channel. Shows extension of the Channel pipeline overland into Holland. Flaming oil is used to lift the fog from an airstrip so planes could land and take-off day and night in foggy weather.
