RAF Sinks Nazi Battleship!
Royal Air Force sinks German Battleship Tirpitz at Tromso, Norway.

Steel Production Made On The Front Lines
Steel I-beams rolled (made) at the steel mill in Differange, Luxembourge. Scenes of (raw material) iron ore, coke, and limestone arriving at plant on rail cars. Interior scenes of steel mill production.

Belgium Rail Networks Bombed
Shows heavy damage and destruction of marshalling rail yards at Marlins Belgium, Hasselt rail yards and shops at Hasselt, yards and repair shops at Courtrai, and marshalling yards and rolling stock at Louvain.

Allied Armies Contend With Heavy Rain And Snow In Europe
General Eisenhower visits positions in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Eisenhower in jeep, walking up muddy hill to command post, chats with soldiers of the 29th Infantry Division, Shows Generals Simpson, Bradley, McLain and Gerhardt. Shows the flooded Moselle River, crossings in assault boats by the 90th Division, snow scenes of French troops in Netherlands. Snow covers machine gun position of 1st Army in Belgium. Soldiers line up for noon chow in snowstorm, Signal Corp repair telephone lines, climb telephone poles, motor grader scrapes snow from road in snowstorm.

Mediterranean

Heavy rains, flooded roads, and mud slows 5th Army advance in Italy. Military vehicles drive through floodwaters in town of Borgo San Lorenzo. Muddy roads in the 78th Division of the Gothic Line, also known as the Linea Gotica, is a quagmire of mud. Military vehicle pulls another vehicle through the mud.

Burma Operations

Army Mules To The Rescue In Burna
Added animals (mules) are rushed into the field. Scenes of pack mules loaded with supplies. Army mules are ferried across the Mogaung River in Burma and loaded onto a train Army Engineers carry out lumber operation, felling trees, sawing, logging, sawmill cutting logs into lumber.

Pacific Theatre

Repaired Air Fields Back In Action In Philippines
Damaged air field on captured Leyte Island in the Philippines are repaired. Construction rollers in operation, landing mats are laid, Generals McArthur and G.C. Kenney inspect construction. Excellent footage of P-38 fighter zooming over the field. Shows Japanese planes attacking a supply depot and resultant damage, and attacks on ships. Some of the Japanese planes are downed. One crashes into an LCI.
