Singing of the Stars Spangled Banner and a benediction starts ceremony as Congress marks the racial integration of the U.S. Military with the appearance and remarks by Defense Secretary Robert Gates, GOP Leader John Boehner, House Democrat Whip Clyburn, Senate GOP Leader McConnell, Senator Harry Reid, Senate Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Srt William Perry and Captain Spencer Moore WWII Veterans of the 92nd Buffalo Division, and Colin Powell. Benediction ends ceremony. |
