President Obama makes a pitch to people planning their vacation to visit the white sand and blue water beaches of Pensacola Florida. He said “people needs to know Pensacola is still open for business”. Obama praised the military for their help in the oil spill which has become an economic and environmental disaster.
Speaking on Iraq Obama said “we are poised to end our combat mission in Iraq this summer, on schedule”. In Afghanistan we will disrupt, dismantle, and ultimately defeat al Qaeda and its terrorist affiliates.
In our country there is not a military world and civilian world, we are all Americans. We are not Democrats and Republicans when you take the long view, we are all Americans, We all rise and fall together.
