Vietnam August 30, 1969. Pilot at controls of UH-1D Huey Helicopter in flight. Point of view POV from helicopter door gunner position, helicopter in flight. Soldiers in grassy field. Purple smoke from signal grenade. Two UH-1D Huey helicopters come in for landing. Soldiers exit UH-1D helicopters and run across field as Huey helicopters take off very quickly. Soldiers take cover in tall grass. Field radioman standing as Platoon Sgt. talks on radio. CU Sgt. With cigar stub in mouth. Soldiers move thru dense palms and brush. VS, soldiers wade in chest deep water in jungle swamp.
