Fidel Castro - Cuban Rebels Take Over
Aerial view of Havana, Cuba, Capitol building and surrounding area. Followers of Fidel Castro parade through the streets of Havana carrying "26th of July" banners. Newspaper headline reads "Se Fue Batista" (Batista Had Left Cuba). Demonstrators smash gambling machines on the streets. Demonstrations at the University of Havana. U.S civilians and tourist caught in uprising are transported to the airport and depart Cuba. Rebel fighters pour into Havana to impose martial law and quell the rioting.
