Synopsis: Martyred Czech village lives again in the U.S. Brief images of Lidice before it was completely destroyed by German Forces in 1942. The Czech village of Lidice was wiped from the map by the Nazis in revenge for the death of Gestapo leader Reinhard Heydrich. Today a new Lidice is born as Lidice, Illinois.
